Turkish virtuoso Omar Faruk Tekbilek will bring his quartet to Hoson in a rare Southern California appearance. The Quartet is Omar Faruk Tekbilek/ saz, ney, vocal, percussion, Chris Wabich/ percussion and vocal, Hamid Saeidi/ santour and vocal, Daniel K Mandelman/ keyboards.
The quartet will perform music from Omar's upcoming album as well as traditional Sufi, contemporary jazz and music from Turkey and the Middle East.
Donation wine bar will be open and turkish style snacks will be served.
There will be general, first come first served seating for this event (no red premium seats) because we expect a larger than normal crowd. Make your reservations early!
